How many alt text credits a store actually needs
· Lidor Asulin
Do not buy a pack for every file in the Media Library. Buy for the images that are missing alt text, plus a little room for new uploads. EzAlt shows that missing count on its screen.
The arithmetic
One credit equals one successful generation. Skipped images, the ones that already have alt text, are not charged. Approving a review-queue draft is not charged again. Regenerating is.
New sites start with 5 free credits. After that, packs are 100 images for $4.99, 250 for $9.99, 500 for $14.99, 1,000 for $19.99, 5,000 for $79.99, and 10,000 for $129.99. They are one-time quotas, not subscriptions.
Where to buy
Buy inside the plugin, from Media → EzAlt AI, before checkout. That registers the purchase for the site you are on. A generic checkout link on the web does not know which WordPress site should receive the credits.
